Welcome to Ruth Barker Middle School!

It is my pleasure, as principal, to welcome you to Ruth Barker Middle School. I have the privilege of being part of a vibrant middle school community where students are supported and cared for. Barker is an Arkansas Diamond School and a National School to Watch. We are currently a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and are pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

As you join us here at Barker, you will have the opportunity to be part of an active learning experience focused on education that will positively impact our wonderful community and the world around us.

Sincerely,

Eric Hipp
